What we are Trying to Do
The Soco Studio was founded on the premise that not enough is being done in the Austin market to reduce the carbon imprint of construction. The built environment is responsible for 52% of greenhouse gas emissions worldwide, including building operations and materials manufacturing. Disruptive new building materials must do one of two things:
significantly reduce the energy costs of a building during its lifetime; and
